COVID-19 antibody testing available

COVID-19 antibody testing available with Roche’s Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 assay*: 100% sensitivity, 99.8% specificity (unlikely to confuse with other coronaviruses). Results in 48-72 hours. *This is NOT a test to diagnose SARS-CoV-2 infection. It will identify individuals with an adaptive immune response to SARS-CoV-2, indicating prior infection. It is unknown how long antibodies persist following infection and if the presence of antibodies confers protective immunity.

If you currently have COVID-19 symptoms, have tested positive for COVID-19, or were in close contact with someone who tested positive within the last 14 days, you should delay antibody testing for at least 2 weeks (antibodies take time to develop).  In-house blood draw 16 years and up. Lab referral provided for under 16 years of age. By appointment only.
