What does a positive Covid-19 Antibody test result mean?
If you have a positive test result, it is very possible that you have or previously had a Covid-19 infection. Your body has developed antibodies in response to the virus and those antibodies have been detected by the test. There is a small possibility that this test can provide a false-positive result.
What does a negative Covid-19 Antibody test result mean?
A negative result means that Covid-19 antibodies were not found in your blood sample. However, this does not rule out an active infection you may have picked up in recent days. Antibodies take time to develop.
